I'm getting a dog.

My mother is giving him to me, as she got him from a friend. She breeds dogs, and is getting a red toy poodle male from said friend and giving him to me to keep here for her to use for a few breedings. After that, he's mine to keep if I wish. He's around seven pounds and has a white spot on his chest. He's absolutely gorgeous. I need to come up with a name.

When Royalty Collides

Everything was going surprisingly well for Asher. Since arriving at the Aciran castle he had managed to not look a fool, hit on multiple people or get completely drunk. He had to be setting some sort of new record for himself.

While the fact that he wasn’t up to his usual shenanigans didn’t particularly bother him, he couldn’t help but feel like things would be going even easier if he happened to slip into his natural element. Maybe he would do so later. As for now he had to focus on Leonor. One of his main reasons for being here was to prove himself worthy of her, though how that would work out exactly he had no clue. Arranged marriages were a pain in the ass. Asher had always said he would prefer to marry out of love, but royal protocol didn’t exactly allow for that.

Things could be worse, he thought. Leonor could be ugly, or ill mannered. Gods forbid she was the hella bitchy type.

Taking Leonor's arm and walking around the room with her, Asher had the chance to introduce her to a handful of people. He wasn’t that close with said people, but it was polite to try and speak to everyone - not just the people he was on excellent terms with. They had the chance to wish Vivian congratulations on her wedding. Leonor seemed to be having a decent time.

In the middle of congratulating Vivian, a certain feeling settled over the room. Whispers seemed to pop up from every corner as people stood on their tiptoes to look over other people's shoulders. Asher turned to see what the fuss was about. When his eyes landed on her, his facial expression briefly shifted to one of shock.

Princess Marcela Castillo of Aragonia had arrived.

”If you could excuse me for a moment, my lady.” he said to Leonor. ”There seems to be something I need to attend to. I promise I’ll meet back up with you as soon as I can.”

The young man flashed her a quick smile before politely excusing himself from the conversation, heading in the general direction of Marcy. As he did so, a rush of thoughts entered his mind.

He hadn’t seen her in ages, and the last time that he did they hadn’t ended on the best of terms. He had more or less ghosted her. Asher had done his best to reach out around the time of Quincy’s death, though had heard nothing back. Rather it was because she was still mad at him or because she simply had a lot going on at that time, he didn’t know. Either scenario would have been perfectly acceptable.
He took a deep breath as he continued to walk over.

This was about to go either barely decent or shit show horrible.
