So, so that we are all in agreement:
  • Plagarizing is bad.
  • Outing someone for plagiarizing is equally bad
  • @Lady Amalthea has the longest rule list in any RP anyone on this thread has ever seen.

To be fair, myself and my co-gm wouldn't have been calling anyone out if misinformation had been posted on here. Person says they've been rejected from a RP because of [insert unfair and untrue reason here], which makes the GM/roleplay look kinda bad. We wouldn't have posted here to correct the misinformation otherwise.

But anyway, that's the last I'll say in here, lest I incur the wrath of being off topic! If you or anyone else has an opinion on the issue, I welcome you to yell at me via PM.

But forreal, I'm always happy to take constructive criticism on my writing or GMing, so anyone can feel free to contact me. :)

(If this bitch wasn't about me at all, then ignore all this lmao)

If there is anymore which needs to be said on the topic of Plagiarism, or perhaps even a topic of Bettering Oneself as a GM, it might be advisable to take up a discussion within a new thread. This aside, it may be best to move on and allow for new vents of frustration to be raised within the current thread.

As a final word, I will add an amendment to the "don't be an a-hole" rule in regards to "don't plagiarise". Do want to stress that this will be more in regards to writing than anything else. It wasn't added initially because plagiarism is more of a legal issue and it shouldn't need to be said... however one can not always assume that everyone is an honest person.

Everyone's taste is shit. The Guild has devolved into a mishmash of anime magical highschool bullshit, fandom nightmares, forced multiverse crossover asshattery, superhero romps and steampunk wankery. I mean, it's not like this is a new development but as time progresses, it's only getting harder to sort through the junk to find the jewels.

But actually, generic fantasy is pretty stale - Give me something new or subvert classic tropes and I'll be the first in line.
