It wasn't until he graduated from Junior High that he moved from Southern Cali to Palm Beach, Florida with his grandfather where he attended King's Academy for two and a half years. Some time shortly after Winter Break of his Junior year, however, his girlfriend broke things off with him and moved away. Sawyer insisted he couldn't stand to stay at that high school any longer, so he moved back with his parents to Naples, CA, and has been attending Delbrook ever since. Sawyer had previously had a problem with drug addiction. His relationship with Georgie had put that to an abrupt halt but with their relationship having ended, Sawyer has since picked up his old habits again. With his old partying habits coming into play, Sawyer also likes to take part in sleeping around. He doesn't actively look for a partner/partners, but if the opportunity presents itself (when he's drunk or high) he most likely won't say no. His grades have been slowly getting worse, and he has a bit of an attendance problem. We'll see just how this year pans out for him. ____________________________________________________________________________ S C H O O L I N F O G R A D E Y E A R 12th grade G P A & A V E R A G E 2.4 | C-Average with a couple B classes F A V O R I T E C L A S S Auto Shop and Dance E L E C T I V E C L A S S Auto Shop and Dance E X T R A C U R R I C U L A R Lacrosse (Midfielder, #24) in the spring, Dance throughout the year T R A N S P O R T A T I O N Owns a bus pass and takes the public bus to school. He had a truck when he was living with his grandpa but couldn't bring it home with him. Now, he has a truck he is trying to work on that he practically built from the ground up over the summer, but hasn't had any luck thus far getting it up and going. He hopes to eventually drive it to school. On some occasions, he rides to school with Eretria Simmons on her motorbike, but usually wakes up early and takes the first bus of the day to school so he can practice dance or throwing some goals on the lacrosse field. Works part-time at the auto shop his older brother has in downtown on the weekends for a little extra cash here and there, but mostly to get himself out of the house. He also takes the occasional job to make appearances at kids' birthday parties dressed as Spiderman. What he'd really like to do is land a job at Disney as Spidey, but with TikTok being a huge focus right now he's not so sure he could balance the two out. Having a love for cosplay the way he does, he is the spearhead of the DA Cosplayers club, they meet every other Thursday in the 800 building on the second floor. Sawyer is a cosplayer and has a TikTok dedicated to his cosplays. Dresses up as Spider-Man, Anakin Skywalker, Nathan Drake, Peter Pan, and a few others. Makes it a point to attend ComiCon every year it comes into town. He hasn't missed one yet in the last 5 years (yes, even when he was living across the country on the East Coast). Sawyer has a decent presence on TikTok among the cosplaying community and is most known for his Tom Holland Spiderman cosplay. He gets paid for uploading new content. Brings in quite the amount of cash, most of which he places in a savings account so that when he turns 18 he can move out of the house. She comes out and says exactly what she feels, regardless of social graces and conventions. She doesn’t have time for niceties. Cunning: True knows how to pull an ace out of her sleeve when she needs it. She’s very observant and can size up people quickly. Like when dealing with the jocks, she’s smart enough to know that their arrogance is a weakness and will play it against them. Contemplative and Broken: In a lot of ways, True considers herself broken. She sees herself as 'damaged goods'. If you knew her past, you'd understand why, but she doesn't open up that far to anyone. You'd have to catch her in an extremely vulnerable moment for it to even come out of her. Bitch with a Heart of Gold: To a lot of people, True comes off as an asshole. She prefers this, because it doesn’t allow people to get close. She doesn’t like anyone getting close, because she’s afraid of losing more people she cares about. True cares, and she cares deeply. She likes to help people in need, as she has no issue putting herself in others shoes and feeling for them and their situation. Though sometimes she has to hold herself back and let things run its course, as she's been burned before while helping people out and she's damned tired of the games people play with her. Being in Yearbook, True attends most (if not all) of the social events such as sports games, band, choir, dance shows, and things of that nature. As such, True is never without her Canon camera, though she keeps it safely tucked away in her backpack in it's protective pouch. Throughout her life, True has gravitated more toward guy friends rather than girl friends. Having grown up with an older brother, being "one of the guys" was always a thing for her, though this year she is trying to branch out and be more open about having more female friends. So now that's out of the way, let's get down to the four-one-one on how your first day at Delbrook is going to go. Today is all about getting in the groove; and no, I don't just mean with the dance squad or the cheerleaders... No. Today is going to consist of familiarizing yourself or re-familiarizing for our returning tides, with the school. This morning you'll attend your homeroom, where you'll meet your classmates and teacher before heading to the auditorium where our mighty Poseidon - our principal, for those of you who might not know - will address the school and give us a brief rundown on what the new year is going to look like. But once that's done... light that bonfire, and get ready for a luau; because the sharks, along with our amazing seniors, have prepared one hell of a welcome home party for us all..! So be sure to head on out to the lacrosse field and check it out..! There are food trucks, carnival games, rides, and booths- make new friends, meet the clubs, and prove yourself a tide to be reckoned with. And why not..? After all; new year, new you, right? Let's make this year our most memorable yet! Though, of course, there is still no wearing anything gang-related and the girls are still expected to have shorts that reach the length of their fingertips. You are still more than welcome to wear Delbrook Tide spirit-wear, and will still be able to buy said merch at the Student Store. You also will still be expected to wear your school I.D.s around your neck with the Delbrook lanyard provided to you from the moment you walk in the front gate to the moment you leave school grounds. You will not be able to enter or leave school without it, so please don't lose it. It's a ten-dollar fee to replace it. Delbrook's campus holds approximately forty-five hundred students, with about a thousand and two hundred students in our graduating class alone. Unfortunately, the reality of those numbers is only about nine hundred of you in the class of 2022 will make it to graduation. We'd love to see you all there, but we know that there are different circumstances that end up preventing some of our students from completing their journey. Anywhere between thirty and forty-five students fill each classroom, with anywhere from six to eight classes on your schedule with two to four classes a day. Depending on how you worked your schedules out with your counselors, you might have free periods before or after lunch that provide you a longer lunch break, or towards the end of the day that permits you to be let out of school earlier than most students. Show the front gate security guard your I.D., which has your free periods imprinted on them, and they will let you out. Our school runs on a blocked schedule where you will attend your Even number classes one day, and the next it will be your Odd number classes. Blue days are Even classes, while Gold days are Odd. Green Days are for all classes. Each class period will run for an hour and a half, with a fifteen-minute break period between your first and second classes before lunch hits, and after lunch will come your third and fourth classes for the day. There will only be a five-minute period between the last two classes for you to get to your designated class, so I suggest you don't dilly-dally. The standard being held for this role play will be High-Casual, which means at least 2 paragraphs of non-dialogue minimum. However, quality over quantity shall prevail. Sometimes you just feel like you can get your point across without writing a detailed paragraph over how Mary Sue brushes her teeth, and that’s totally okay. The maximum time between posts will be 10 days, though we will be shooting to post once a week, which can be extended by previous communication with the GMs. If you do not post in IC or OOC by this time, I shall shamelessly spam your DM’s in Discord or Guild PM’s to see what’s up. Until you are heard back from, your character will be excused from any interactions they may be in to free up the other member's character(s) and put on a hiatus. Scenes will be moved on with or without you posting, so don't let yourself get left behind and stay on top of your posts please. After a month of inactivity, I will be taking you off the roster altogether. I will have a copy of your CS' saved in my inbox, and will be removing your characters from the character tab. If you are to be absent from the site, unable to post in the period of time mentioned above, or wish to bow out please let us know in whatever via you prefer (OOC or group PM to the GMs). It’s not only polite to do so, but it will be much appreciated. Please check with at least one of the GMs if you plan on making a big event that might change the vibe of the RP or affect the cast in any way. We’ll most likely say yes, but better safe than sorry. This is a character-driven RP. As such, there is not only a need but a requirement for character interactions. So talkkkkkk. Every player and the characters he or she decide to play will have their moments to shine, but interactions help a lot with this. After all, we don't want somebody to be left out. Real-life face claims only who look the part of a high schooler. @Kuro Yes yes. c(x I will more than likely have the OOC page up by 1pm (CST) today, cause I have that 2 hour window from 11-1 when I don’t have to do anything at work. I’ll be working on it then, finishing things up. My last part of my shift today is going to be a crazy one, and one I don’t like… so I probably won’t be available after work, as I’ll be recovering from dealing with my last client of the day. >~< BUT.. if I don’t get it up by 1 this afternoon, it will make time for it and it will for sure be up tonight by 9-10pm. Won’t go to sleep without it being posted xP
